  These are some pictures I took in January 2007 of the Huber Breaker in Ashley, PA. We had an unusually warm winter in the beginning of this year, so yeah - there wasn't any snow on the ground yet...

Thank you for posting pictures of this particular colliery. It happenes to be the one my great grandfather worked in.

My grandfather was a Blue Coal employee, he was a miner. Here's a picture of him:

So much of the valley's mining heritage is disappearing, it's important that we preserve at least some of it...
